Biggest Surprise
Final Fantasy XIII goes multiplatform
We couldn't believe it ourselves either. Imagine the horror that crept up our spines when we saw Square Enix take the stage at the Microsoft E3 keynote on Monday. We knew they were going to show off the previously announced 360-exclusive RPGs, but when the all-too-familiar Final Fantasy XIII trailer started playing on stage, our blood pressure simply dropped and we struggled to type anything. No one expected a game as important to Sony as Final Fantasy XIII to end up in Microsoft's camp. Considering the hundreds of comments that flooded our site with that announcement, it's the clear winner of "biggest surprise" of E3. The problem is, no one wanted to be surprised like that.

Well go ahead and think what ever you want about my comments but I'm actually excited about this. not sure what system to pick it up for, PS3 is going to mean a long install process (I'm guessing) and the xbox I'll be able to play immediately but most likely will end up dealing with multiple disks. Personally I like my achievments better than my trophies, never thought something like that would way much on purchasing a game for me. But all in all there going to be able to deliver the game to a wider audience, which is a good thing for the franchise. But PS3 is definately in need of more exclusives.
